The work is hard, however that's what they want to do. The film explores how the developers go deeper into the notion of entertainment and discovery.

I followed the everyday lives of Ali, Kais, Ertan and Alban with my camera for over two years. The time was characterized by disappointments, conflicts and also great successes. It all began with a visit to the "Klingelpütz" youth center in the middle of Cologne. Young migrants have been meeting here for many years.

He is a writer and Ángela, a mature woman, is his domestic employee. Since he can't find inspiration, he decides to accompany her on her work day to other houses. Thus, delving into other people's lives, both begin to stop seeing each other as strangers and have fun, momentarily forgetting their own problems for a while. Without romantic tensions, the two simply enjoy sharing the day and, while Ángela cannot stop remembering Pedro, her dead husband, he only listens. Without advice or sermons, their two visions come together to make, at least that day, a different experience.

The Lagoon tells the story of two characters who are forced to start a trip together. A man looking for a lagoon with metaphysical properties and a local guide who knows the way. Two different worlds that converge in an austere ecosystem, on a mountain that marks a new code to follow. But as they move forward, the trip itself takes on meaning and eclipses the constant search for that precious objective.

Approaches to important life values can vary: while the top athlete who has made it in cycling tries to monetise his talent, his brother cannot devote himself to his beloved sculpture because of his disabled arm and seeks alternative self-fulfilment. Moreover, the two are united - and at the same time divided - by a love affair with the same woman.

Christa Seeliger is proud and happy to work as a secretary for the boss of the traditional Hamburg company Hansecker, because his chocolate factory is famous for having invented the smiling chocolate Santa Claus. It would never occur to her that her boss would much rather be cruising the world's oceans than running his company. So she unsuspectingly allows herself to be used for his purposes when Hansecker secretly sells off the company.
